It all started when I got diagnosed with cancer when I was 10 years old. I learned early on that life is precious and it’d be a shame not to experience everything it has to offer with the short and uncertain time that we’ve got! I’m 25 and healthy now, and this mindset has led me on some pretty crazy adventures spanning 60-something countries. I’ve jumped off a bridge in New Zealand, slept in a tent in the Amazon Jungle, and got stranded by myself on a motorbike trip across Albania chasing these new experiences.

Nowadays, I live in Amsterdam completing a masters degree and I solo travel with any slice of free time I get! Traveling alone challenges me the best version of myself; it brings out a new, independent, badass chick inside of me that loves to challenge herself, expand her perceptions of the world, and appreciate the beauty in all walks of life.

My goal with this blog is to help others realize that they can live out their craziest travel dreams too. That’s why I write travel guides that can fit any budget and any time constraints, cause I know what it’s like to be a broke college student with no funds and little time off. Above all though, I really hope my writing and my tips inspire you to find the courage within yourself to travel alone and open your heart to the wonderful world out there along the way.

Adventure awaits!
